Creative Cloud App Constantly Reopens Roughly Every Hour or So

Does anyone know why this keeps happening?  I have to manually exit the app from the file tab as right clicking in the tray doesn't do anything.

But even worse, the app just reopens itself about every hour which I do not want.  I only want the app to open when I chose so manually.

Thanks

I get free access as an employee of my university, that is the membership I have.  It is linked to the email address of my profile.

I am using my laptop but not sure about what else you are asking?

Ok, thanks for the clarification, Nkwrig01.  Please contact your Universities Creative Cloud admin for additional assistance.  If they are unsure of how to help you then they can use the process in https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/support-for-enterprise.html to schedule a session with an expert who can help them.

How to disable a program in Windows startup
-Right click the 'window pane' in the very bottom left corner of the Windows desktop
-Select Task Manager in the pop up option window
-Click More details if you don't see startup
-Select the Startup tab inside Task Manager
-Select the program you want to disable
-Click Disable in the bottom right corner
-BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU DISABLE SO YOU DON'T STOP WINDOWS FROM RUNNING

This is not about startup, the program is already disabled in both the Task Manager and in the CC preferences.

This is any time that my PC is running, about once an hour CC will open on it's own even if I fully manually closed it before.  It's a never-ending cycle that is really annoying!

Nrwrig01, what type of Creative Cloud membership are you using?  I do not see a membership associated with the e-mail address you used to post to this public discussion forum.

Do you own and manage both the computer and the network that it is connecting too?
