Creative Cloud: IOS app not uploading in the background.

I have adobe team creative cloud. Overall I am pleased. However, the one aspect that i need the most is lacking. Uploading videos and photos from the IPhone CC app is a problem.  It is has improved with updates, however, the app does NOT upload in the background. If the phone auto locks or you answer the phone or send a text, the upload stops. We have updated to the latest app version and the toggle is green for "Background App Refresh" in cc settings.  Not sure why it won't upload in the background, but it does not. 

Dropbox continues to upload in the background allowing us to use our IPhones while uploading team items.  

I have NO desire to pay for both dropbox and creative cloud. 

Is there a resolution in the works? Is there a way to force CC app to continue uploading in the background?
