Question

Creative Cloud is opening to a blank window even after a total uninstall and re-install on my Mac

I have been having issues with Photoshop and wanted to update the program, but when I clicked on update it brought me to a blank white box. I tried to get to Creative Cloud directly and got the same blank box. I tried repairing Creative Cloud with the uninstaller and it went through the steps successfully, but would not launch, and when I launched it manually it was still the same white box. I went ahead and updated my Mac to Tahoe 26.4.1 to see if that would help, but it did not. I then did a full uninstall and reinstall of Creative Cloud. Again, it did everything successfully, but when it launched (this time at least it launched) it was still a white box. I downloaded the Cleanup tool and ran that and it got rid of everything (I think.) I did another install and it is still the same thing. Photoshop is not fatally flawed and I can still use it, but I can’t update or uninstall it. I have searched the boards here and on the internet and done all of the steps everyone said worked for them, but nothing is working for me.

Do a Google Search for “white screen of death” on Mac Tahoe.

It’s usually caused by software conflicts, corrupted system files, or peripheral issues. To fix it, restart your Mac while holding Shift (Safe Mode) to clear caches, run Disk Utility in Recovery Mode to repair the drive, or reset the NVRAM/PRAM.

    Hope that helps.

Try to create a new admin user in System Settings > Users & Groups and work from there. Will it make a difference?
