Creative Cloud Packager fails to download software (non-existent Home folder)

I'm running Creative Cloud Packager on 10.9.

It selected a non-existent home folder as the default download location.   "/Users/jsmith/Documents/"

I changed it to my actual home folder.   "/Users/smithj/Documents/"

After selecting the applications that I wanted to include, I clicked on Next and it started downloading the data.  When it got to 2%, it would fail with an "Oops something has gone wrong" message.   I clicked on Retry numerous times and it always failed.

I backed up and selected a different folder and it still failed.   "/Users/shared/"

I ended up just creating "/Users/jsmith/" and it fixed the problem.

Seems like a bug to me.

The PDApp.log shows this:

06/19/14 10:42:56:416 | [ERROR] |  | ASU | EnterpriseNative | EnterpriseNative |  |  | 1941882 | Error occured while downloading. No write permission to download at location (/Users/jsmith/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CCP//AdobeCCPCache/KCCC/AdobeSetupUtility).

  <filePath>/Users/jsmith/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CCP//AdobeCCPCache/KCCC/AdobeSetupUtility</filePath>

The new /Users/jsmith/ folder now contains several other folders under /Users/jsmith/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CCP/* that the installer created.

I'm using the latest CCP that I just downloaded today.

This wasn't answered and I see that it's still not resolved.
