Welk I have made package after package through the CCP. And each one of them says package was successfully built complete.
How on earth am I meant to know if there's a problem if your packager manager doesn't indicate an issue?
II've built these packages 3 times, I've tried on multiple computers to build them and they fail. I can't keep wasting time building package after package and then testing just to try and get one that works.
After banging my head against the desk at repeatedly creating packages, trying on different computers I've finally found a fix.
These packages were copied to an external drive, if I try and install them from the external drive, which is standard practice it fails.
If I then copy that pkg file from the External, to the computer I'm installing it on, then run it, it go's and installs fine.
Which is mind boggling stupid, because it's rare that you should have to copy the file to any computer, it's at the very least always installed off an external, and a lot of people in Enterprise are pushing it out over the network and management suites so there's some serious issue in the Adobe Packager if that's the case where it can't handle the medium it's being installed off.
Hopefully if someone else is having problems then this fixes it.
