Creative Cloud Update Without Admin Access on Mac OS X

How can I configure Creative Cloud client to automatically update from Adobe servers without administrative access on Max OS X? Our users do not have administator access on their machines, so they cannot update Creative Cloud by themselves. Thanks in advance.

Remote Update Manager is a command line tool, so it does not have a GUI.

    Use Adobe Remote Update Manager

I'm aware of that application, however, it is not installed on any of our users' computers. It is a component of the Creative Cloud Packager. We have Creative Cloud Manager installed manually on every machine instead of deploying through the Packager. I would like to retain the ability of users to decide what software to install. How can I install the Remote Update Manager?

    Hi Jonathan,

I will suggest you to create a Package of only 1 app like Dreamweaver and include CC Desktop app in the Package. Deploy the Package on the client machines so it will install the software along with CC Desktop app and the users can download the rest of the app's later.

Deploying package will also install Remote Update Manager on each client machine, you can invoke it remotely through command line or from remote management tools.

    Hope this answers your query.
