Question

CreativeCloud setup fails. Log File to follow.

I created a package using the CC Packager and selecting the programs I wanted. I included Acrobat Pro DC. I ran it from the network using the MSI file and found that Acrobat didnt install. I researched this and found the following page: Deploy Adobe Acrobat XI or DC which explains that Acrobat will not install unless setup.exe is run. I reverted the computer I was testing on, using a system restore to before Adobe CC was installed. Then I ran the same package but this time used the setup.exe from the network. It has failed every time, I have tried it using a batch file in --silent mode, as well as running "as administrator" (and I am logged in as an administrator).

What is the solution? I need a way to install a selection of CC2015 products including Acrobat DC. I would prefer to be able to run it with no interaction required, from a command line or batch file, with the package on the network.

Can you look for the PDApp.log and check the document below

    See https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/packager/troubleshoot-install-uninstall-errors-ccp.html

This looks to be the document that is presented in the link on the failure message, so I have reviewed it. I pasted the lines pertinent to this failure from the PDApp.log in my OP, and there are no error code 6 or 7, and the return code from the Bootstrapper Process is (0). Bootstrapper Error Code 0 or Exit Code 5 do not appear to be covered in this document.

Would it be helpful to post the entire PDApp.log, or do you have any other suggestions?

So Exit Code 5 means Unable to initialize user interface workflow

If you build Acrobat as a separate package do you have the same issue? I want to see if we can isolate that as a cause.
