CS6 version of Premiere no longer available under CC apps area

I'm a cc subscriber and am searching for an Adobe blu-ray authoring solution. Encore has been recommended, and the online community says to download Premiere CS6 from the CC "previous versions" area in the Apps sec version. Youtube tutorials clearly show the CS6 version but when I look for previous versions I only see several CC versions, no CS6.

How do I find the CS6 version of Premiere, which I need as that is the only place to find Encore, which I need to burn a blu-ray.

Thanks!

Jason

Thanks for the update, i would recommend you to try uninstalling the Premiere Pro CS 6 app from within the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app, see: Uninstall or remove Creative Cloud apps.

If you are unable to uninstall it from the Creative Cloud desktop app then please use the Creative Cloud cleaner tool to do so: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems.

After this try the installation again and share the results with us.

    Hi Bani,

Thanks for your email. I was signed in with that same email address/account. I signed out then back in. Now I see in the "apps" section of Adobe Creative Cloud that Premiere CS6 is installed, but I don't see it on my computer. It's possible I uninstalled it a while back, but I'm not sure why ACC thinks it's still here. There was an option to update it, but that failed. Might CS6 be stored in some other area on my computer that I can't find?

So, I tried using the Creative Cloud Cleaner but it gave me an error message saying my installed CC apps would not allow it to run. But then I dug around in the applications --> ultilities --> adobe installers folder and found an uninstaller for CS6. Ran that, it worked, it uninstalled CS6 (entire suite), then moments later, no restart needed, the Premiere CS6 install option appeared in Adobe CC app. I installed it and found Encore. Thanks very much for the help. Hope this thread helps someone else.

    Hi Jason,

I have reviewed your Adobe ID(email address) you have utilized to post here on forums, and found Adobe Creative Cloud Team subscription registered on it, if you are not signed in with this email address on you Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app then it will not show you the "Previous version" option as that is only available with Adobe CC subscriptions and not trials.

Please check and confirm that you are signed in with the correct Adobe ID(email address) in  Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app with which you purchased the subscription. If not then sign out and sign in with the right Adobe ID, see: Sign in and sign out to activate or deactivate Creative Cloud apps.
