Customisation Wizard: Fehlende Option "Dokumete als neue Registerkarten"

Hallo,

wenn ich ein Paket des Reader DC mit dem Customisation Wizzard bearbeitet habe, fehlt in den Einstellungen die Option "Dokumente als neue Registerkarten im selben Fenster öffnen".

Die Option wird im Wizard nicht angeboten und nach der Installation auch nicht in den Voreinstellungen "Allgemein" angezeigt.

Wird das Paket manuell installiert ist die Option vorhanden.

Auch hilft ein Eingriff in die Registry nicht. Egal wieviel ich HKLM\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC austausche.

Auch die Änderung des Parameters: HKLM\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVGeneral\bSDIMode zeigt keine Wirkung.

Ich verwende den Wizard "CustWiz1501620039_en_US_DC.exe" und das Reader DC Paket "AcroRdrDC1501620039_de_DE.exe".

Ist da eine falsche Paketkombionation?

Hat hier jemmand eine Lösung?

I don't completely understand the translation to English. bSDIMode should work. Can you export your registry setting and post it here?

Hello Ben,

i'll try it in English:

When i customize the AcroRead.msi File from the Installation Packet "AcroRdrDC1501620039_de_DE.exe" and install the Reader DC with this Modifyings, there is no Option in the "Settings - General" Tab where i can Switch between "Tab View" and "non Tab View".

(Sorry, i don't know the Option is called in English")

The "Tab View" Option is not displayed in the Wizard.

After some Tests i installed the Reader DC Paket "AcroRdrDC1501620039_de_DE.exe" manually and the Option is present.

I tried to modify the Reader DC Installation which i did with the Wizard Paket by manipulating the Registry. But the "Tab View" Option is no available.

The Wizard Version is "CustWiz1501620039_en_US_DC.exe".

Is this a bug in the wizard or do i use the wrong Packages?

There are 1000+ registry settings, and the Wizard only shows around 50. You can set the registry pref in the Wizard via the Registry feature, or you can use GPO or other methods to propagate the setting.

The first thing to do is install the application on a machine, manually set the preference on that machine in the registry (not in the UI), and see if you get the behavior you want. If you do, then make that change in the Wizard as well.
