Customisation Wizard X

Hi there.

I am a newbie to this, so bear with me.

registered to be able to distribute reader.

got the wizard X

unpacked the distributable file.

opened the AcroRead.msi file.

under installation options. Remove previous versions of Acrobat is ticked but greyed out.

Remove previous version of Reader is greyed out.

I don't want to remove Acrobat, but I do want to remove previous versions of Reader.

How can I choose the Reader option?

That's a bug and I believe you can ignore the UI because it's incorrect. You might want to test on a machine first, but I'm fairly certain Acrobat will not be uninstalled.

Since you're new to this, make sure you get the admin guide and AIM (which has the preference reference). You'll want to use cmd properties at install time or preferences to set up things like the default PDF viewer, EULA acceptance, a.com integration, etc.
