Data Migration error w/ Creative Cloud Pro

Hi there, I recently upgraded to Creative Cloud Pro, so I can allow another user to access and edit my existing files on Premiere Pro on their own personal device. However, my projects still haven't appeared on their dashboard, since then we contacted Adobe support. I followed their advice, I un-added them and re-added them. We're not sure if it'll work.

I'm still looking into other ways to fix it, but I wanted to know if anyone else has encountered the same issue with data migration and resolved it. Thanks!

Hi @eliseblasco

I have reviewed your account and found you have one Premiere Pro Teams license and one Creative Cloud Pro license. According to your description, you have files in your Premiere Pro account that you would like to share with another user; however, the sharing process is not working, and you are unable to grant access to the files. Can you confirm if this is correct, or give us more details if not?

Also, have you tried the steps to share and collaborate with another user: https://adobe.ly/4nLxfoQ;

Since every user has a separate storage allotted to them, you will have to transfer your assets to the other user for them to have full access: https://adobe.ly/4ooBfN4

I hope this helps you.

Thanks,

Hi Bani,

Yes that is correct. I upgraded to Creative Cloud Pro under the advice that my projects from Premiere Pro would automaticallly migrate to the user I assigned. However, the user still sees nothing on their dashboard. I tried to click the first link you sent but it says 404 error.

I'm still confused and was in contact with Adobe for the last 3 hours, still no progress. I even attempted a loophole. I created a new team project and invited the user, the user was successfully joined. But for some reason I cannot import the existing project in premiere, everytime I click the folder it is empty. If you could provide any more support, I'd appreciate it.

Hi @eliseblasco,

Thanks for reaching out.

Could you please confirm whether you’re able to see your projects under your personal profile or your business profile? Earlier, when you were using an individual license, all your projects were created under your personal profile. Now that you’ve moved to a Teams account, you should also see a business profile.

Please log in to https://adobe.ly/3JjUUi1 and check whether your files or projects are available under your personal or business profile. When signing in, you’ll be presented with a profile chooser:

To access your personal profile, choose Personal Account.

To access your business profile, choose Work/School Account.

If your projects are still under your personal profile, you can migrate those assets by following the steps in this document:
https://adobe.ly/47HByeA

You can also transfer these projects to another user who has been assigned the Premiere Pro license from the Admin Console.

If your projects are under your business profile, you can share those projects and libraries with other users by following these guides:

https://adobe.ly/4on8Pmm

https://adobe.ly/43fdjTT

This allows you to collaborate seamlessly with your teammates — inviting them to work together in real time, share feedback, and stay aligned on the latest files and updates.

Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions or need further assistance.

Regards,
^AN
