Date Modified for Updates in SCUP

I'm using SCUP for Flash and Reader updates and it all works fine except for the dates on updates.  The update for Reader 11.0.17, for example, shows a Date Modified of 5/26/2016, which certainly seems inaccurate when the update was released on 7/12.  Where this really creates the problem is in SCCM.  The Date Modified for the update goes into SCCM as the Date Released.  So when you're working with update reports for date ranges, this particular Reader update won't show up if you're looking at updates for the month of July, which is where you would expect it to be.  You would need to look for it in March.  Anyone know what's going on?
