Hi, How do I delete files created by users using the Admin Console without getting them to sign in and delete them? I need to free up some space. TIA

@Kevin Stohlmeyer,

Looking at that graph, it looks that it is the sum of all individual uses of storage space. It's not what each individual gets. But I agree with @kglad. That looks awfully low for a whole organization.

I would guess, the @Mrs28225038q5pg needs to contact customer support to get this sorted out. https://adminconsole.adobe.com/support

@Mrs28225038q5pg @Abambo I would like to share the updates with you.

It is a known issue/bug for those organizations who are using only Adobe Express (with/without the SDL license) and the storage is migrated to the ESM (Enterprise Storage Model).

We are providing unlimited access to the Adobe Express license which comes with 2GB of individual storage and due to the very same reason with the Enterprise Storage, we have no capping as we cannot predict how many users the admin will assign the license.

The total storage works for those organizations that are using a limited number of licenses.

Example: If the org is using 10 CC licenses with 100 GB then the total storage count for them would be 1000 GB.

The engineering team is already working on it and will come up with a specific storage quota for these types of orgs. Meanwhile, feel free to upload the files to the cloud and it will not impact the users or their cloud data.

I hope that I was able to answer your query.

Why don't you want the users to sign in and delete the data, they do not need any more, or to save that data somewhere out of the sight of the cloud?

As a side note: It may well be that users just need to delete for good deleted files, as they get transferred in a kind of dustbin https://assets.adobe.com/deleted.

We've only got 2GB of storage at the moment and I'm working with classes who aren't always logged in so it woul dbe easier if I could delete any files.

@Abambo brought up a good point, and i'm not sure how you an determine what should be deleted, but i would think if anything could be blindly deleted. it would be files in the deleted folder.

can you see if everyone's deleted folder is empty?

Thank you - I'm not looking to delete all of the users files, just ones
that are not needed.
