Deploying EDU device licenses with CC App

I'm wondering about the required login to the CC app for device licensed installs.

We have different users with different CC app needs. We'd like to deploy a small Creative Cloud package with just Acrobat and the Creative Cloud App and then let users decide what additional CC apps to install.

Currently when we deploy to Windows machines with SCCM, both apps install correctly, but the CC app asks for a user login before it will allow other software to be installed. Is that the only way to make the CC app work? Is there a way to skip the login and allow any of our licensed programs to install without requiring a user to setup an Adobe account?

It seems like it worked without a login when we first got a CC license a few years ago, but lately all installs have been requiring a user login.

Thanks

Hi,

When you deploy a device license package we recommend that you do not include the Creative Cloud Desktop App as this will request a login.

I found that when SCCM was used, sometimes I had to create a license-only package as well.

Then I used RemoveVolumeSerial followed by the AdobeSerialization.  This removed the enterprise license and added it back.  It did not make duplicate entries in the Admin Console either.

On a similar situation, how can a device license get an updated app without the CC Desktop app or a CC Login?

You can build an update package with Creative Cloud Packager and push it out via SCCM if needed.
