Desktop app 5.7.x?

I have two Macs, both running MacOS 10.5.7: In one, the desktop app is now version 5.7.0.1307. The other Mac seems to be stuck at 5.6.5.58. I have deleted the app (entirely, with Adobe cleaunp toos) and dowloaded the "latest" installer but after install... I'm still at 56.5.58 (!) ... All my other desktop apps seem to be updating as expected, automagically, except for the desktop app. Ideas? Thanks!
