I have a 2 user volume license for Acrobat XI. Each user has Acrobat XI installed on one PC and one Laptop.

The PC is about to be replaced with a newer PC. Can I deactivate Acrobat XI on the PC only or will I need to deactivate

it on the Laptop too?

Hello Rickk,

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you want to deactivate the Acrobat 11 from one machine so that you can install and activate it on another machine, Is that correct?

For Volume Licensing software you may simply uninstall the software as it will not give you any activation issue when you try to install it back. Make sure that you download the Acrobat setup from the Volume Licensing website that is https://licensing2.adobe.com, log in using the email address which is associated with the Volume license order of Acrobat 11.

Install the software on the new machine and use the serial key for activation.

For detailed information about Adobe Volume Licensing website, please refer to Adobe article Adobe Licensing Website | Serial numbers, orders, and accounts

However, You just need to ensure that EULA is not violated while software installation. For detailed information, please refer to Adobe end-user license agreements FAQ

For perpetual license (Volume and retail) if you purchase a single seat for any Adobe software you can install it on two machines but cannot use it simultaneously on both the machines but instead one at a time.

Feel free to update this discussion for any further assistance.
