Device activation limit message despite having an additionnal acrobat licence

Question

We are a team of 3 people. We have 1 creative cloud licence which up to 2 computers can use at the same time when logged in as the same user. This is fine for our use of the creative apps but we were getting tired of having to sign each other out every time we wanted to open a PDF with acrobat so we bought an additionnal acrobat licence which is registered to the same account. However, even with this additionnal licence we are still being asked to sign out. Is there any way to be able to switch between the creative cloud and acrobat licences without having to assign one licence to a different user and sign in and out of our Adobe account every time we want to use a creative app?

You can install on several computers, stay signed in to two at a time, but use only one at a time. See: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/install-apps-number-of-computers.html

This is wrong. The standard license is for ONE person, which that ONE person can use on up to 2 computers, not at the same time. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are licenses to be shared with colleagues or staff.

What you need is a Team account, so you could buy the necessary 3 licenses.
