Hello @Ortus29712788xo0l,
Thank you for reaching out.
Before we point you to the right plan, we want to make sure we understand what you need. The term "qualified electronic signature" has a specific legal meaning in certain regions, and the answer differs depending on which type of signature you are referring to.
Could you help us clarify the following:
-
Are you referring to a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) as defined under EU eIDAS regulation, which requires identity verification by an accredited Qualified Trust Service Provider?
-
Or are you looking for a secure, verifiable electronic signature for general business use?
In the meantime, here is what we can confirm for both scenarios:
If you need a QES under eIDAS
QES is supported through Adobe Acrobat Sign Solutions, which is an enterprise grade offering. Standard individual Acrobat plans including Acrobat Standard and Acrobat Pro do not offer the same level of compliance as Acrobat Sign Solutions for this signature type. We recommend contacting Adobe Sales for the right plan for your requirements at https://adobe.ly/4xYNKDc
If you need a standard secure electronic signature for business use
An individual Acrobat plan is sufficient for sending documents for signature. Adobe Acrobat supports simple electronic signatures, signatures with strong identification, and digital signatures backed by certificate authorities depending on your plan.
On the third party signer
Regardless of which signature type applies, the person signing does not need an Adobe account or license. They receive a signing link via email and complete the process through their browser at no cost to them.
For a full overview of signature types supported by Adobe please refer to: https://adobe.ly/4zBarip
Please share more about your use case and we will be happy to advise further.
