I just wanted to clarify that if a user is on a Adobe enterprise license and if we want this to be converted to a shared one i.e. one email id and password but multiple users, is that allowed legally? if yes, could you let us know if there is any Adobe official documentation supporting it?

Hi @Samarth26961452vz0a,

Thank you for reaching out.

As checked, you have an active Teams plan associated with the Adobe ID used to post this query.

Adobe’s licenses, including Adobe Acrobat Pro under the Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) or Value Incentive Plan (VIP), are issued on a per-user basis and are not intended to be shared among multiple individuals using a single email ID and password.

According to Adobe’s licensing policy, each named user license must be used by one individual only. Sharing one Adobe ID among multiple users is not permitted and may lead to compliance violations or restricted access to services.

If you require access for multiple users, Adobe recommends assigning individual licenses to each user. For environments where multiple users need to access Adobe applications on a single device (such as computer labs or classrooms), Adobe offers Shared Device Licensing (SDL), which is designed for that specific use case.

For more details, you can refer to Adobe’s official licensing terms:

Please let us know if you would like assistance in identifying the most suitable licensing model for your needs.
