Enterprise deployment problem (Mac)

I am trying to deploy Adobe reader to around 100 Mac clients via ARD following the instructions in "Acrobat_Enterprise_Administration". I successfully installed reader and the provisioning tool, but when I try to run the UNIX command to suppress the EULA using the command "/Applications/adobe_provisioning_tool.app/Contents/MacOS/adobe_provisioning_tool -S -a "/ Applications/Adobe/sReap/Reap.app/Contents/Resources/AMT" then I get an error message back that the Configuration Service cannot be started. Where am I going wrong? I must say that the Mac installation instructions in the above document are confusing to say the least. For example one of the commands listed for EULA acceptance is "-E -e Reap-RS5-Win-PR -l en_US", Win surely not? Also I would prefer to deploy it vis ARD but the instructions seem to be only for Acrobat X Pro not mentioning Reader at all.

Adobe provisioning tool works for Acrobat deployments only and its mentioned in the note at page 86 just under section 12.4.2

"Note: This tool will be released shortly after Reader X. The provisioning tool is only for
Acrobat deployments and does not work with Reader."

Yet in the previous paragraph it says"Select one or more Macintosh computers on which you want to install Acrobat or Reader."  So I can't accept or suppress the EULA for reader? So much for the enterprise deployment guide. Adobe needs to get it's act together.
