Whenever I try to begin working with Adobe Portfolio to make a website, I recieve this message. I'm not entirely sure what it means. Does this mean I will permanently lose access to my Behance portfolio if I begin work on adobe portfolio?

Hello, the Enterprise and Federated ID's are owned by the organization. Adobe ID's are owned by the individual and are considered as personal accounts. If you create your Behance portfolio on your Enterprise ID and in case you leave the organization, the Enterprise ID will be disabled and that will also disable the work you have done. There is an option to migrate the content between Adobe ID's but not from Enterprise to Adobe ID. There is a workaround wherein Enterprise ID users can co-own the portfolio with Adobe ID.

So... it's good for highlighting work as part of your organization, but which is connected to you only.

This doesn't suit organizations well: if the work is good, and it belongs to the organizaion, they would want to keep the portfolio.

This doesn't suit individuals well: if the work is good and it belongs to the individual, then they may need it the most when they change jobs.

So the normal use of this is with personal accounts, it's warning you it may not suit you. It doesn't mention Behance, so we can't assume anything about that. However, the chances are any Behance portfolio you made also belongs to your organization and is closed down when you leave. It says nothing about losing one if you start on the other, I'm not sure what has led you to this question.

Thank you for replying. What led me to this question is the part where it says "you will lose access to your Portfolio if you leave your organization." This implies I may lose something concerning Behance (since that's the only application I've ever received this message on) if I begin using Adobe Portfolio-- if I'm not mistaken. Since I don't know what it means by "leaving my organization" because I'm still enrolled and only a student, I thought I'd ask if someone could clarify that.

I understand what you've stated above however my main concern is: why I'm receiving this message when I haven't changed my status as part of my organization and if I will lose access to my Behance if I use Adobe Portfolio. I'm not sure if I worded this incorrectly but I appreciate your help. Thank you again.
