"ERROR: DW040: The product "{D467C6EE-6F62-478D-935C-A31AB179F36E}" is not installed. Cannot proceed with the uninstall"

I am receiving the above error message when trying to install a newly created CC package. This is my first install of CC.

Any help is appreciated.

    Please tell us which OS version are you using so that we can try to assist you appropriately. You may use cleaner tool to remove the previously installed applications

    I am using both 10.8 and 10.10. I also have CS5 installed on these computers. Am I able to keep both versions installed? I updated the CS5 version after I received this problem and miraculously when I tried the install of CC all worked correctly. This was on the 10.8 computer. I am deploying on the 10.10 computer via Apple Remote Desktop. As of yet I have been able to install on 6 10.10 computer without error.
