Feature Request: Add Make Updates Available after 30 days for Enforce Auto Update

Hello. In Adobe Enterprise Console for CC we can enforce auto updates under Manage Self Service policies.

The User Managed feature “Make Updates available after 30 days release” has been a great feature as it doesnt install the latest Adobe updates that may contain bugs.

A feature request is if this same option can be added under the enforce auto updates option. That will ensure users wont opt out of auto updates and also they wont automatically be updated to the newest release.

Thank you.

    Hi @23360901fpxo,

Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion, and for laying out the reasoning so clearly. Wanting the stability of the 30-day delay while still guaranteeing users stay on auto-update makes a lot of sense for keeping a fleet consistent.

Just to set the context: within Self-Service Policies, "Make updates available 30 days after release" and "Enforce Auto-update" are two separate options, each applied at the product profile level. You can read how each one works here: https://adobe.ly/4wpom9s

Combining them the way you've described is a great candidate for a feature request, so it reaches the team that owns these policies.
You can post it in our Feature Requests section here on the Community, where others can add their votes: https://adobe.ly/3Tzkios. When you post, please include all the details you've shared here (the two policies you'd like combined and the reasoning behind it), as that context helps the request land clearly and lets other admins add their votes.

Please let us know if there's anything else we can help with.

    Thanks,
    ^AV
