Federated ID cannot be (re)created after removal

Hi,

As a system administrator I use my email address as Adobe ID and as a Federated ID user. So my email address is used twice.

I decided to remove my federated Id for testing purposes. After a while I decided to create it again. However, I now get the error "User is already associated with your organization" if I try to add the email address manually as an user.

Yes, the user exists as an Adobe Id user, but I want to create a Federated Id user with the same email address. What could be wrong? BTW, I made sure I removed the federated Id as a directory user so this isn't the cause of the problem.

Thanks in advance!

Correct answer SuJoshi

The admin console allows the admin to add the user/account with either Adobe, Enterprise, or Federated ID. There is an exception for the admin who can have both the Adobe and Federated ID. You can use the "edit identity type by CSV" option to create a federated ID with the same email ID.

I hope this will resolve your issue.
