Finding out how many Seats my Acrobat Professional 2017 17.0 MLP AOO License has

We purchased this license awhile back under the TLP 5.0 LICENSE PROGRAM - CORPORATE licensing program and finally installed Adobe Acrobat 2017 on a users computer with a pop up that max devices have been used. Is there a way to see how many Seats our serial number has?

    Hi @MRW5E3A,

Thank you for reaching out, and we understand how disruptive it is to hit a "maximum devices" message right when you're trying to get a user up and running.

To confirm your situation: you have a perpetual Acrobat Professional 2017 license purchased under TLP 5.0 (Corporate), and you'd like to see how many seats are tied to your serial number after encountering an activation limit during a recent install.

You can view the seat quantity associated with your TLP order directly on the Adobe Licensing Website (LWS) at https://adobe.ly/4gz35F0. Sign in with the Adobe ID listed as a contact on the agreement, and from there you can view your order history, see the serial number, and view the licensed quantity (seats) for the order.

The LWS is the system of record for all TLP purchases, including serial numbers, order details, and deployment counts. For reference: https://adobe.ly/4oyrtsm

A couple of things to keep in mind:

    • Only contacts on the TLP agreement can sign in to the LWS. If you're not listed as a contact, you'll either need to use the Adobe ID of an existing contact, or have one of them add you. For security reasons, new contacts can only be added with written approval from a current account contact.

    • If you're unable to sign in or can't find the order (for example, if you don't know which Adobe ID was used at the time of purchase), please let us know and we'll point you to the right next step.

One important thing to flag while you're reviewing this: Adobe Acrobat 2017 reached end of support on June 6, 2022, which means it no longer receives product or security updates. The software will continue to run, but for ongoing security and compatibility we'd strongly recommend planning a move to the current Acrobat Pro subscription through our VIP program.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,
