Fraudulent Emails claiming to be from Adobe requesting to consolidate my companies accounts

Today I received to Emails from someone who identified themself as B Vivek Sharma. He said he is “my account manager” at Adobe. The logo looked “off” being a red letter A on a white background, surrounded by a red box when your logo is typically a white letter A surrounded by a red box. The first email begins as follows: “Trust you’re doing great! I am Vivek, your Account Manager at Adobe, and I happen to see that your company has multiple contracts and wanted to check if this is Intentional.” and the second email begins, “There are several individual Adobe licenses under your company domain that are currently unmanaged and billed outside your team account. Not taking any action right now may lead to:”

First, I don’t have a company or a company domain or company contracts. I have exactly two subscriptions with Adobe, not multiple Adobe licenses. The email was trying to get me to click on a link and “book a meeting” with him which I am not about to do. The email appears to come from adobe.com however, my settings with Adobe do not allow for sales or other correspondence from adobe, except for billing information. I did an internet search and there is someone on Linked in named B Vivek Sharma who says he is an account manager at Adobe. But since the person in the email has totally the wrong information about my account, I believe that the email is a scam/fraud. Adobe might want to do an investigation into whether someone is pretending to be an employee of Adobe and spoofing an email address to perpetuate a scam.

I recently changed my email address due to the amount of scam/spam emails I was receiving. These two emails were sent to my new address. The only people and businesses that have my new email are the ones that I currently do business with, including Adobe. I have concerns that my privacy may have been breached. Please look into this.

This is where you report Fraud-Piracy-Phish https://helpx.adobe.com/security/alertus.html

And there is also a link at the bottom here https://www.adobe.com/genuine.html

Thank you. I posted here because after following multiple links trying to figure out where to report fraud/phishing, I still did not come up with the above links that you provided. Those links should be placed in a prominent, easy to find location on Adobe’s website and well labeled so people know exactly where to report fraud/phishing. In looking through other questions on here, I see I’m not the only one receiving suspicious emails/texts/phone calls. People just as frustrated as I was trying to navigate the website while trying to report it. Thank you for your help.

    Hi @pamelag69 ,

Thank you for flagging this, and for taking the time to lay out everything that looked off to you. We completely understand the concern, especially when the details in the email don't match your actual account and the message is pushing you to click a link.

If you're ever unsure whether an email, website, or pop-up genuinely represents Adobe, the safest step is to report it directly to our team at phishing@adobe.com so it can be reviewed. You can also review your account security settings anytime at account.adobe.com/security. Both are covered here: https://helpx.adobe.com/security/alertus.html

Please don't click any links or book any meetings from a message you're unsure about. If you'd like us to look into it further, feel free to share the sender's email address through private message.
(You can send me a private message by clicking my username and selecting "Send a message," or through the envelope icon at the top right.)

    Thanks,
    ^AV
