Frustration with New Enterprise Device License Assumptions

I would like to find out if anyone else is disappointed with new requirement for schools to add another layer on top of the Education 2019 Device Licenses by forcing users to have an Adobe ID and logging in for each user? That model doesn't match the needs of our environment. My users see this as a broken experience, and I would agree. We want the students and instructors to just be able to walk up to any computer, with a device license, and open an app and begin using it without being pestered about "Continuing" or logging in. This change happened after we migrated our licenses from the old 2018 and prior model to the current model. I spoke to an Adobe rep who told me that this is just the way that it is, and to send feedback if I don't like the setup. We really should have an option to set it up similar to way it was before.
This new model is not keeping the users from being able to use the software, it is just an unnecessary distraction. We have our own file on-site server for user files, and do not use any of the cloud based features of the Adobe Cloud. Has anyone else found some way to suppress or get around the constant need to login? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
