Question

Hide Benefits Tab from CCDA

Is there a way to hide the Benefits tab in the Creative Cloud Desktop app. We don't want our users to be able to see all the miscellaneous items in our enterprise plan but what is more recently frustrating is that there are “Partner perks” advertisements listed now, such as redeeming 3 months of LinkedIn Premium which should not be shown for an enterprise level license. We have tried editing the ServicesConfig.xml to append “BenefitsPanel” to “False”, similar to AppsPanel but it appears not supported in the same way.

    Hi @Brian385115173v9p,

Thank you for reaching out. We understand how restrictive this can be when trying to manage and customize the CCDA experience.

At this time, there is no supported way to hide or disable the Benefits tab in the Creative Cloud Desktop App (CCDA), including for Enterprise customers.

Adobe supports limited UI customization through managed packages and the ServiceConfig.xml file, such as controlling the Apps panel, Discover panel, and self‑service installation behavior. However, the Benefits tab is not a configurable component, so entries like BenefitsPanel are not supported, and related changes do not take effect.

We can see that you’ve already raised a feature request, and we appreciate your effort and patience. Feedback like this helps inform future improvements.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.

    Thanks,
    ^BS
