Question

How can I ensure that I don't lost my project? I can't tell if my school account has expired

I had an Adobe account for a class at my school. I asked my teacher to extend my account until my school email is deleted, which happens tomorow, June 30th. I'm not sure if she did this or not; she didn't understand how the subscription worked.

I'm still able to use all the software I could during the school year. However, this page says that I have no paid plans, this page says I have an adobe for teams account, and this page says I have adobe for enterprise. What plan did I have from school? Is it still active, and why can I still use all the apps like Premiere Pro? I've also started getting adobe emails in my school email trying to get me to join creative cloud, which makes it seem like I've lost my account, yet I can still access the software. Why is this?

My second question is: what is the best way I can continue working on my current project in Premiere Pro? If I switch the email on my adobe account to my personal email, will I still be able to access the apps? How do I know when they expire? I could switch the account to my personal email and buy a subscription, but it doesn't seem like I need to since for some reason I still have access to the software.

It is critical that I don't lose access to the files I have saved in Premiere Rush and Premiere Pro - is there a period of time where I would be able to transfer them to a new subscription or account after my account expires? Or will it be deleted without warning?

First: As soon as the school cancels your account, you can't use the software any more, and you will lose access to any data stored on the cloud and not cached locally. The school can still access the data, and the clean way to do that would be getting the students to save their data. As you can still access the programs, you are still being part of the subscription pool.

The e-mail you got is probably because an administrator added you again to the pool, so it appears to me that your teacher did react to your plea.

When you take a personal subscription, you can work as with your school subscription. You just need to transfer the data from your school account to your private account, if that data is stored in the cloud. You can take an annual subscription prepaid or paid on the month or a subscription on the month. The subscription will renew at the end of the term, which you can check in https://account.adobe.com/plans (you need to be logged in the correct account, however).

Trick: I have two accounts, a personal one and one from my employer, I'm using different browsers for one and the other, if I want to check something. As for the Creative Cloud app, you can be signed in only in one account at the time.
