How to block updates without modifying the install package for CC?

So has anyone figured out an easy way to block updates without modifying the install packages and reinstalling it on every machine?  The only thing I can find is this: Disable auto-updates in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite 6 apps  which still required you to modify a FILE on every machine!  This is absurd and so frustrating.  Is there a simple registry key I can push out??

Thanks for that link msnead53.  We can push those files through KACE to each machine, but now that's kind of a moot point I guess.

I'm not a child; I don't need Badges, Stickers or Gold Stars, I need ANSWERS.In IT they come to US for answers, WE MUST find them SOMEWHERE! That's YOUR job Adobe.

Branching to a new discussion and moving the discussion to the Deployment for Creative Cloud for Team, Enterprise, & CS forum.

Msnead53, the original poster was asking why Acrobat Pro reverted to a trial after they applied an update.  I have branched your response to a separate discussion and moved it to the public forum which covers your topic.
