We purchased an Adobe Creative cloud Enterprise license. I have created am adobe account, but the license provided didn’t have a serial number. It has a subscription ID, a tennant ID and a proivder service ID listed? Some instructions indicate that I need to log into the “Adminconsole” in order to allocate a license. but I only have one account and when I attempt to access the admin console it says “We’re sorryyou don’t seem to have access…..” How do I attain the correct information and license this software that is paid for? Thanks!

    @Adobe Maker,

Finding the sign in page is a separate step from having administrator rights inside it. If you can log in but still see the earlier access message once inside, you are not yet an administrator and the steps below will not be available to you.

If you are signed in and do have administrator access, allocation works like this and does not involve a serial number at any point.

    • Go to Products in the Admin Console.
    • Select the product you want to allocate, for example your Creative Cloud Enterprise plan.
    • Select Add User.
    • Enter the name or email address of the person you want to license. You can search for an existing user or add a new one with a valid email address.
    • Select Save.

Once saved, an email is sent to that user confirming access to the application. Full steps here: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/admin-console.html

If you attempt this and do not see a Products tab, or an Add User option, that confirms you do not yet hold administrator rights, and the earlier steps about getting added as an administrator still apply before allocation is possible.

    Hi @Adobe Maker,

Thank you for the details you have shared.

Since you are getting started with the Admin Console for the first time, this overview page is a good place to begin. It links directly to sign in and to the core concepts you will need: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/get-started.html

The subscription ID, tenant ID, and provider service ID you have are the correct identifiers for an Enterprise Named User Licensing plan. This license type does not use a serial number, so nothing is missing from what you received.

The message you are seeing on the Admin Console indicates that your account has not yet been added as an administrator for your organization. License allocation is performed by whoever holds the System Administrator or Product Administrator role, not automatically by the person who purchased the plan or created an Adobe account.

To resolve this, please check the following.

    • Learn about the different administrator roles and what each one can do here: helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/admin-roles.html
    • If someone else in your organization handled the purchase, ask them to sign in to the Admin Console and add you as an administrator under Users, Administrators, Add Admin. You will receive an email invitation from message@adobe.com and must select Get started to join the organization. Full steps here: helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/users.html
    • For an overview of what the Admin Console does once you have access, including how licenses are assigned to users, see https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/admin-console.html
    • If you believe no administrator currently exists for your organization, for example the person who set up the account has left, the steps depend on whether you already hold any administrator role yourself. Both scenarios are documented here: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/change-contract-owner.html

Once you are added as an administrator, or once the license is assigned to your account by an existing administrator, you will be able to access and use the software.

Please let us know if you continue to see the access message after an administrator has added you.
