I can't validate my domain

I use hostgator. I entered the information over a week ago and it's still not working. Can you please help me figure this out? Thank you!

    Could you give more information about the issue.

    What happens when you try to validate the domain?

    Have you updated your DNS record, in which case, what is the exact string you added to the record?

      I apologize, I figured it out the next day and thought I deleted this. I must not have made it back here. The directions on naming aren't clear for hostgator, that is where my issue was.
