I cannot deactivate my CS5 Design Premium?!

I had my laptop crash on me and took to the store where I had the warranty on it. They could not get the part to fix it so they bought me out. They gave me the hard drive from the laptop and the extras I added to the machine (after market).

The problem I am having is that I cannot open up the programs (any of the CS5) and deactivate them. I have the programs on my desktop computer, and because I cannot deactivate the CS5 on my now portable drive, I cannot install and use my serial number to activate it on my new laptop!! I am sooo frustrated, I have a freelance client screaming for a sit down and I cannot because I cannot get it on a movable computer!

Any ideas?? I tried uninstalling on my new laptop, but then it won't open from the portable drive, I tried opening from my portable drive with it installed on the new computer, but it won't light up the deactivation button on my help drop down!! I need some help, if there is another way please let me know, I am so frustrated!

    I was able to have a adobe CSR help me with this. I could not deactivate from the hard drive though.

    At least its all fixed, but it bugs me I wasn't able to do this myself.
