    Hi @brilliant_leader941b,

Sorry, you are stuck on this. 191 is frustrating because it is a catch-all for an update that could not finish, so let us narrow it rather than keep guessing.

Per the Helpx Error 191 guide, it usually comes down to one of three things: the account running the update not having admin rights, a folder permission issue, or the update failing to sideload a bundled component.

    Worth trying first, in order:

    1. Run the update from an account with administrator rights, or right-click Creative Cloud and Run as administrator.

    2. Confirm Read and Write access on these three folders, then retry: C:\Windows\Temp, C:\Users<you>\AppData\Local\Temp, and C:\Users<you>\AppData\Local\Packages.

    3. If it still fails, run the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, reboot, then reinstall Creative Cloud.

To pinpoint the actual cause instead of trial and error, one line of code does it. Open C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers, open Install.log, search for #@#OS_Error_Code, and paste the code that follows it here.

A couple of quick questions so we can point you in the right direction:

Is this a personal computer, or a work or school-managed device? If it is managed, the fix likely sits with your IT security policies rather than your account, and the steps differ.

Which Creative Cloud version and which Windows version are you on?

Share that error code and those two details, and we can give you a targeted fix rather than more guesswork.

Also, if you are attempting to reinstall, we would request logs. For more information on logs, please see: https://adobe.ly/4Au85SV

    Thanks,
    Tariq
