InDesign 10.2.0.69 (Enterprise) Reverts to Expired Trial Mode

Hello,

I've been using the Creative Cloud Packager with mostly success for distribution of CC 2014.  I use an Enterprise serial number to get around having my users have individual Adobe ID's

However the latest update of InDesign, version 10.2.0.69 (or 2014.2), has a critical problem.

Upon installation it makes the entire CC Suite think that the entire suite requires a end-user paid login, and the trial has expired.

Any ideas?

    Hi All,

this is similar to what we have experienced with our enterprise deployment. After months of pain and suffering we finally got Adobe to confirm that the desktop app should not be packaged for enterprise. If you have the app packaged and someone logs into it, it will revert the application to 30 day trial and then eventually make the application unusable.

Try uninstalling the desktop app and then re-deploying the application to see if that works.

    Cypher.

As of March 16, 2015 I no longer have the message that states that "0 Days left in Your Trial: join Now". Not sure how or why this has gone. Anyone else have the Trial message disappear?

After the InDesign 10.0.69 update i was getting this message below.

Now i am not getting the message.

    Anyone else have this happen?

I just tried again by installing the same InDesign 10.2.0.69 package I previously created in CCP onto a clean Mac and it seems to be working for me as well.  Maybe this wasn't an issue with the update itself but something with the licensing backend for the new version.  Even so, it would have been nice to be informed that it was being looked into and when it was fixed.

So, K Gibson‌‌, it looks like all is probably good now.

    Hi Everyone,

This has been identified as a bug already and concerned team is working for a fix. this occurs with serial number license only however it doesn't impact the licensing of product and you can cancel this window to continue with InDesign CC. Hopefully, an update will be released soon to fix this bug.

    Thanks,

    Ashish

K Gibson‌ Can you let us know if anyone is looking into this?  The fact that the InDesign update is causing this issue makes it rather hard to update the entire Creative Cloud suite in our situation where we only allow updating via RemoteUpdateManager (since it does not allow you to selectively block bad updates).

I am having a very similar problem with the Mac version.  However, one difference is that so far only InDesign reverts to trial mode.  I have tried to re-serialize using both the older adobe_prtk tool (which has always worked previously for situations like this), and the newer tools (RemoveSerialization/AdobeSerialization) and neither work.

I have also built a standalone InDesign installer (using CCP 1.8) with all the latest patches, including the InDesign February 2015 update (10.2.0.069) and when installing that by itself onto a Mac where InDesign has already lost its serialization it also fails to be serialized.  UPDATE:  If I install this standalone package onto a fairly "clean" Mac IT FAILS AS WELL.  I originally thought it worked because I had installed it on the same Mac that I have Creative Cloud Packager on.  This gave me a false impression that it worked because I am signed in with an Adobe ID in order to use Creative Cloud Packager.

This is a very serious problem as we use serialization for licensing rather than Adobe ID's.  This is also kind of frustrating that this seems to be a somewhat recurring issue with updates where at least a couple of times a year a Creative Cloud application update breaks serialization.

We have an enterprise copy and it has been working fine until we did the latest Adobe CC update that took Adobe InDesign up to version 10.2.0.69. any idea how we can correct this issue?
