Information Deleted in Forms when Saved

I created an interactive pdf form and selected the reader-enable option. When I sent the form, people could fill out all the necessary information and print the form but they were unable to save the form. When they tried to save the form to return the form to me, all the information they typed in was deleted. What is going on?
