Installsheild Tuner with Reader 6.0.1?

Can you use the installsheild tuner to configure an installation for Reader 6.0.1? If so, where can you get the installation that includes the .mst files? (we would like to remove things like Print Me Internet printing, etc) We found a custom mst install for Reader 6.0 online but have not seen one for 6.0.1.

Second question, is there any way to add the Adobe Acrobat Standard and Professional 6.0.1 updates to the installations using tuner? The only thing I can see is having it launch another program when the install completes and then selecting the update file there. This, however, resets the user settings that were configured in the initial install of version 6.0.

Start the Reader 6.0.1 install, then grab the files out of the Windows\Cache folder. This includes the .mst file that you need for InstallShield Tuner 6 for Acrobat. Detailed steps are in the Tuner documentation linked from the Tuner download page.

6.0.1 patches for Pro and Standard cannot be tuned. This is a limitation of MSI technology, as I understand it.

It's an MSI installer. You may want to look on the Microsoft website for all the possible switches (i.e. for silent installtions) that can be used.

I don't know if it's me or what, but I'm having problems trying to wrap up Reader 6.0.1 to be distributed through sms. I don't see where to get rid of the print issue, I don't see where to make this a silent install. The documentation on this tool is pretty poor.

You want to deploy Adobe Reader 6 using MSI, but cannot find the MSI file in the EXE file you downloaded. Go through the steps to install Reader 6, but stop just before clicking the Install button to actually install it. Click Cancel instead, then go to this folder to find the installation files: %systemroot%\Cache\Adobe Reader 6.0
