Is anyone else having trouble with their installer?

Creative Cloud used to work seamlessly for me at work. About three months ago, I started noticing NOT COMPATIBLE issues in the Desktop management app - and I'm getting a weird driver error with Premier Pro. Yesterday, InDesign was acting up so I uninstalled. Reintalled this morning and immediately it shows UPDATE AVAILABLE - and then when I click UPDATE, it does nothing. If I reinstalled, why wouldn't it have installed the latest version?  There are so many Adobe ghosts in my machine right now, I honestly don't know what to do. And our small IT group is losing interest. Help! P.S. At first it was throwing me an OS error but I am running the latest version of Windows.
