Issues with Creative Cloud, Mac, and External Displays Since Update

Multiple macs in our facility using external displays, running Catalina, and with Creative Cloud installed are all running into similar issues.  When the external display is connected apps on the Mac run brutally slow or not at all.  Creative Cloud won't even open and says its damaged and need to be reinstalled.  Individual Adobe apps won't open or may evenrtually open after about 10-15 minutes of trying (depends on the system).  We've been trying to find a solution for weeks with little to no luck.  Is anyone else experiencing this issue?  Our solution is to unplug external monitors, launch all the apps you need to work with, then plug the external monitors back on.  If an app becomes unresponsive, unplugging the external monitor fixes the issues and then you can plug it back in again.  This is so far only happening on iMac Pro and Macbook Pro systems.  Our non-pro iMacs seem to be running fine.  Could this be video card related?
