k12 creative cloud deployment

We are purchasing the Creative Cloud software for installation across some Mac labs in our school district. My IT specialist has information that indicates we will receive a DVD for installation. Her plan is to install on a workstation and then make an "image" of the workstation to distribute across the lab. Research that I've done indicates that we need to manage licensing via an administrative software (enterprise) and deeply packages for installation.

Will appreciate some input on this.

    Hi there.

I am not aware of a disc to install CC from and creating an 'image' of the apps is not supported.  Packages are made using "Adobe Creative Cloud Packager" which will download the apps and updates specified when creating the package, and then the package(s) is deployed to machines.  I'm using Casper Suite for deployment.  You can make a single package with everything you want in it but I am finding it better to package the apps separately and deploy the required apps.

At least that's how I am handling it across our campus.
