Keep Adobe Acrobat pro updated on the devices

Hi Team

 

My predecessor had deployed Adobe pro (as Windows app (Win32) .intunewin) for windows and Adobe Acrobat pro 25.1.PKG on Mac devices in intune.
I have noticed that the apps are not being updated.

  1. Have tried to update same via configuration profiles but same failed.
  1. For Mac, have tried to upload the new 26.1.pkg file but Intune is not accepting it.
    Current deployment is Adobe Acrobat 25.1_en_US_MACARM.pkg extracted from Adobe+Acrobat+25.1_en_US_MACARM_Downloader.dmg
    and the new file downloaded from the site is AcrobatPro_Mac_US_30.04.26_en_US_MACARM_Downloader.dmg
    Have tried to create a new deployment for 26.1 and use it to supercede the 25.1 but it did not work.


Can you please assist so that i can have these apps (both Windows and Mac) updated automatically?

    Thank you for reaching out, and we understand how important it is to keep Acrobat Pro up to date across your managed devices. To help us guide you to the right solution, could you please confirm the following:

    1. Were the original packages (both Windows and Mac) created via the Adobe Admin Console (Packages section), or were they downloaded directly from https://adobe.ly/4f3Bnj1? For Intune deployments, the PKG file needs to be downloaded from the Packages section in the Admin Console, either from Pre-generated packages or the Get Started workflow, and must be under 8GB. Packages downloaded directly from https://adobe.ly/4f3Bnj1 are not intended for managed deployments via Intune.

    2. Is your subscription a Creative Cloud for Teams (VIP) or Enterprise (ETLA)? This will help us determine which update management options are available for your organization.

    Hi BS,

     

    Kindly note that the installation files were downloaded from Admin Console.
     

    Subscription

    Annual plan, paid monthly.
    I can't see VIP or RTLA.
