License Activation Issue

We have two licenses for Acrobat Professional, unfortunately one of our server crashed so we restored its image back but after image restore Acrobat Professional is not working  on that server it says your Acrobat license limit exceeded and it is used on other machine.

How many users are connected to a server?

What is the version of Adobe Acrobat? And how many seats you have purchased with a serial number of Acrobat Pro?  Was it a volume license serial number?

Message you are getting: “Activation limit reached” or “Sign-in failed” error                                  

Is primarily linked with an individual serial number. Let me know if that helps.

if those are the volume license serial numbers you shouldn't get that message.
