Question

Mac clients not updating from Internal AUSST

Recently it has come to our attention that Mac Clients are not able to receive updates from the Internal AUSST. It works fine with Windows Clients. Any ideas?

On the Mac clients using the Updater (Adobe Application Manager) or the Remote Update Manager does not allow clients to install updates.

Removing the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0/AdobeUpdater.Overrides lets the clients do updates fine.

Make sure you are using the current version of RUM which is available from here.

Possibly updates have been suppressed by the Creative Cloud Packager.

I checked it out and it does not look like its being suppressed by those settings. Also, all the clients were updating normally just last month. The only change we did since then was update the packages on the server using AUSST. I am currently trying out a test setup on another box using the --fresh instead of the usual --incremental that we use.
