When I switch a user from an Adobe ID to a new Federated ID what Adobe desktop app sign-in issues might they encounter and how can I avoid them?

Correct answer Wingkin

If you have switched them using the Identity Switch CSV and your Admin Console is on Business Storage / Enterprise Storage Model - the user will not experience any downtime.

However, should the user be logged out for any reason and need to log in again. They need to select their 'Company or School' (Federated ID) account instead of their Personal Account (Adobe ID) as that is where their licenses will be allocated.

Hi Maurice98A5

Technically speaking, they should not encounter any issues unless there are specific permissions/GPOs in place.

However, if your users are facing any issue while login in, we need the specifics of the issue, say a screen grab or a Video demonstrating the issue.

Will users be prompted to sign-in to their Adobe desktop apps again when they are converted from an Adobe ID to a Federated ID?
