Migrate active licences in Personal Account to a Company Account

Hi

I set up an account but incorrectly as a Personal User.  I ought to have set up a company account.  Is it possible to migrate the active licences to a company account or change the account type to a company account?  I need to do this as we require more licences/Enterprise subscription.

Thanks in advance

Hi @Harmonious_warmth5812,

Thank you for reaching out. Based on your query, it looks like your Adobe account was created as a personal user instead of a company account, and you are looking for a way to transfer active licenses or change the account type.

In this scenario, I recommend removing the licenses assigned to users from the Admin Console and then reassigning them to the correct profile. You can refer to this guide for detailed instructions: Assign licenses to team users.

If you have a Creative Cloud for Teams or Adobe Document Cloud for Teams plan and you are both the contract owner and administrator, your account will include both a personal profile and a business profile. You can find more information on managing profiles here: Manage Adobe Profiles.

Since your account is within the renewal window, you also have the option to adjust the number of licenses and products in your plan as a system administrator. Please review this guide for details on modifying your subscription: Direct Business Renewals. For any assistance during this process, you can reach out to your account manager.

If you are planning to transition from a Teams contract to an Enterprise contract, I recommend contacting your account manager to facilitate this change.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
^AN
