Question

Migrate away from my university email

Hello,

I currently have my Adobe ID linked to my university email (which is managed through Microsoft authenticator).

I will no longer have access to my university account, and I'm trying to migrate to my personal email. In the account settings there's no optiona to change the email.

Is there a way to do it? I only have photos in my Lightroom, so a method to backup and restore all the photos to a different account would work too.

Thanks

Thank you all for the answers. My situation now is:

1) The university won't collaborate on this, so I'm on my own

2) The student migration tools says that my account is not supported

3) I tried the method of creating a shared album in the new account and adding the photos from the old account to the shared album. It works, but the photos are added as .dng instead of the original raw (.raf) files, which takes 3 times more space, and I will fill up my personal cloud storage (I've just paid the annual subscription for 100gb so I don't even think I can change that)

4) I tried the lightroom downloader but it seems that the edits are not downloaded (at least I think)

I'm now trying to filter out the unedited photos that I have, and importing manually those in .raf format to save some space

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you very much

Check if this helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/kb/download-lightroom-photos.html

The issue is, that if you used lightroom on your university account, the data is managed by the university. You will need the help of the university, if above does not work.

If I login through the link provided in your reference, it blocks me saying "your account is deactivated".

However, my account is active (I can login in lightroom and adobe website).

After logging in through adobe website, I can access my account page, I can edit my profile, but there's no button to change the email.
