Migration from Adobe id to federated id (G suite SAML) - Effect on existing user
Hi,our company currently consolidating idp to G suite.
Our adobe enterprises user is mostly Adobe id,with 30 of 300~ user is duplicates of unused federated id.
This directory is connected to inactive G suite saml apps, and is marked as active in adobe console.
Example:
johndoe@gmail.com - Adobe id - Adobe photoshop
This user also exist in directory with the same email
johndoe@gmail - Federated id
-Would there be any impact on for this kind of user if we delete the directory?
Our migration step is
-Create new directory in Adobe console
-Create new G suite saml apps
-Integrate G suite with Adobe console
-Migrate the domains to new directory(domains is verified already)
-Import and sync g suite user to the directory
(These 2 step below is advised by adobe support,to ensure end user get their asset migration email)
>Move the directory user to group without assigned license
>Update the Adobe id user to federated id
-Delete the old directory and G suite saml apps
Is there anything i miss? or any error on the step explained above?
Aside from forced to re log in and possibly have to manually move their asset, any other impact on end user ?
(both for user with duplicate federated id and standar adobe id)?
