Migration of XD Cloud files (Marked Versions) from Personal Profile to Enterprise Profile

I have XD cloud files in my Adobe personal profile where I have maintained various marked versions in the same XD file. Each version has a different URL associated with the marked version and the client comments are stored on each URL per marked version. My organization has now shifted to an Enterprise profile. There is no way to migrate the complete XD file (including marked versions) from personal profile to my enterprise profile. I am concerned if all of the old comments would get removed or the old URLs won't work when the personal profile 2 months free access period would be over.

We reported it as P1 issue but the response from the Adobe engineering team is slow. You might have to wait for a week to get an answer. Adobe support team denied automated migration. Even in manual migration, they can only migrate the latest version of the file, but we have marked versions (version history) in the same XD file that they cannot migrate. Also, all the previous links of XD files cannot be updated again as the enterprise profile would treat it as a new file. We have hundreds of files and marked versions that we have to download manually, which is a very time-consuming task. It would have been better if Adobe could have placed all the files in the enterprise profile by itself rather than the personal profile (from the same official email id).

an unfortunate, but expected outcome.

Contact Adobe for migration help for this. An administrator of your Enterprise plan should contact Adobe support via the admin console. https://adminconsole.adobe.com/support. Together, you should be able to find a solution for this.

Thanks for sharing. Registered a case with the Adobe Engineer for an automated migration process. The Adobe team would restart their support services w.e.f. 02-Jan. Awaiting confirmation from them.

you'll probably need to manually download from one, and then upload to the other profile account.

but you can check with your plan administrator.

Downloading it manually would fetch only the latest version and not the marked versions saved within that file. The version history won't download if we do it manually.
