Missing "Add develop" link in admin console

Hello!

I asked my system administrator to grant me the Developer role, but the feature is missing in its admin console. Only two roles exist: user and administrator. I need the developer role to accesso the developer console.

Is the Developer role available only for certain plans?

Update: It seems that our users currently have a 'Adobe CC Cloud Subscription'.

If you need the developer function, you need a 'Adobe CC Cloud Enterprice' subscription, which is about € 237 more expensive. I hope that clears up everything for all other people having the same problem.

Hi, I am having the exact same problem. Any solution ?

I am creating a Photoshop and an InDesign plugin using Adobe UXP Developer Tools. The plugins are working locally and I want to share them on the Marketplace so our clients can use it.

If I open the Adobe Developer Distribution page, I get access denied:

So that clearly says I need 'Developer role permissions'. I contacted our company's adobe accounts manager to fix this for me. He wants to, but that option does not exist, so its impossible for him to do so:

Can anyone from Adobe please have a good look at this screenshot and tell me how the manager can grant me 'Developer role permissions' here ?

Hey Joery !

After having lost 1 month with a lot of useless "experts" at Adobe, one was able to unlock the situation 🙂

I feel like it's my duty now to help the next one with the same issue.

To be concise, there is no developer role in any kind of plan. This is a wrong documentation issue.

Two options now:

- you want to develop an application inside of your organization, then your organization need to be entreprise plan and give you admin role on the application, like "Adobe sign for entreprise" in my case

- you have a plugin idea you want to share on the marketplace, in that case, I'd suggest you fulfill an application for getting developer access on Adobe. I don't have the link but it may have been shared in other posts. Once you get this role, you cannot access APIs related to your organization like creating Adobe sign documents for your enterprise, but I feel like your plugin does not need this kind of thing 🙂

I hope it helped, but be sure that no developer role can be granted inside an organization, whatever they can tell you, because they only read a legacy documentation that is no longer working !

you should be able to see your developer console.  https://developer.adobe.com/developer-console/docs/guides/getting-started/

I am unable to see the developer console. My administrator can see that page, but cannot give me the Developer role because the button "Add developer" won't show
