More problems with password reset

Hello,

I am a legitimate user of Adobe products and I currently hold two active paid subscriptions, purchased under Tienda International SRL.

I use Adobe software on multiple devices (laptop and desktop PC), but almost never simultaneously. There are situations where I need to switch quickly between my laptop and my work or home desktop PC, and due to time constraints I am not always able to manually sign out from all devices.

The frequent and repeated password reset requests triggered by these situations significantly impact my productivity and my ability to meet tight work deadlines.

If this practice continues, I will regretfully be forced to cancel my Adobe subscriptions and consider alternative graphic editing solutions that offer more flexibility for professional use across multiple devices.

Please review this situation and let me know what solution can be provided to allow normal usage of the products under reasonable conditions for a professional user.

Kind regards,
Cristian Frantic Miu

Hi @cristi_m,

Thank you for reaching out and for explaining your situation in detail. I’m sorry to hear about the inconvenience you’re experiencing.

Please note that Adobe does allow usage on multiple devices. However, frequent sign-ins across different machines, network changes, or unusual login patterns can sometimes trigger automated security checks. These are designed to protect accounts from unauthorized access, but in some cases they may also prompt password reset requests for legitimate users.

To help stabilize this behavior and reduce interruptions, I recommend the following:

Make sure you are always signing in with the same Adobe ID and not creating multiple active sessions across several devices.

If possible, sign out from a device before switching, or use the “Sign out from all devices” option from your Adobe account.

Ensure your operating system and Adobe applications are up to date, and verify that no VPN, proxy, or network security tools are interfering with authentication.

You can also refer to this document for device sign-in limits and activation behavior:

As you mentioned that you frequently switch between your laptop and desktop systems, please note that you can be signed in on up to two computers at the same time, but Adobe apps can only be actively used on one computer at a time. Rapid switching between devices can sometimes trigger security checks, which may explain the repeated password reset prompts.

Additionally, I recommend following the steps in this document, as outdated user or application certificates can also cause repeated sign-in or password-related issues:

I hope this helps. Please let us know if the issue continues or if you need any further assistance.
